I have a dc40 collar that just stopped workin completely the other night while hunting. It will not charge or turn on. Does any know anything that I could do to it instead of having to send It in?

I believe they have a battery inside and you can get those on eBay and try changing it. Maybe that's what it is

Call Garmin tech support and talk with them about it, but my guess is that it's died out and you'll have to send it back. It's not that bad to get a rebuilt one and they work just fine. Good luck.

I had the same problem just the other day, called garmin.....they told me to send it in and within 5 days I had a refurbished one at no cost and it works great. Looks and acts brand new.
