well this weekend my boy had a friend stay , the boy has never been fishing before or hunting so I told him I would put him on the best fishing trip hes ever had , he was pumped , we had no issues catching bait , {live shad } , the boats were stacked up on the river , we went up river to my favorite spots and  tied up , I rigged the poles for carolina rig , the fish were chewing on the bait but slow , so I started changing the rig on my pole to see if I could find what would work , {BINGO } I started catching them every cast so then I started rigging there poles the same way and my wife helped the boy learn the way, the boys caught so many that there rist were hurting , my boys freind couldnt catch anymore , he quit , my boy fished until the last bait was gone , we caught in the hundreds , the kids were yelling I got a big one a lot and every boat around us was tring to get close to us , I was happy I could show the boy something we charish so much , the outdoor lifestyle and I bet he will never forget the time he went fishing with his buddy colton
colton holding one up , hes the loudest kid on the river , everyone knows when hes catching fish

Way to put em on the fish Bob. Im sure Coltons friend will be talking about it for a while. And There isn't much more fun  fishing out there  than getting on a school of sandies. Should've rigged up the snagging gear and put him on something!!   I sure respect the way you keep your boy out in the woods. My dad did it with me, and I can't wait till my boy is old enough to tag along.

My only question is : When is the fish fry?? Lol
