Have a 3.5 year old half bmc half bird dog THE ONLY REASON THIS DOG IS GOING IS BECAUSE I'M SELLING OUT Ive had this dog 2 years he is completely broke off cattle, goats, cats, skunks, deer, armadillos, and anything that ain't a pig, you can turn this dog loose in your yard with a pen full of pigs in the middle of it and he will not pay them any mind open the gate and throw him in and its on like donkey kong. He's the best dog I've ever had for hunting and being a pet for kids, hes calm always never excited just does his job and expects to get attention for doing so. He will bay in bay pen but he's nothing special as far as scoring points are concerned. In the woods he is what I call cold footed he doesn't run non stop circling wearing himself out but you get him close to sign n he's gone. This dog is also what I call a boar dog, get him on a group of 20 sows and one big nasty boar, your other dogs may bay the fat slow sows but this boy I guarantee you will have that boar bayed does'nt matter if he has to run him down 7 miles to get him stopped he will stop him and if it takes you 3 hours to get there I promise that dog will still have him bayed, I've seen him do it over and over you can bank on it if he's not at the bay with the rest of the dogs and he's off by hisself he's got a monster bayed up. Last two times he did this there was a 350 lb plus big nasty in front of him n he held the last one by hisself for 2 hours while we were trying to get through the saw briars to him. He will catch small pigs if they try to break and run on him, always on ear, and he always catches with catch dog, he's gritty but smart about it. normal range he's short range 100 yds n below in heavy brush, open swamp glades and tall grass brush he's 200 yds n below, in front of four wheeler or truck he likes to stay 60 to 100 yds in front of you, he will hood hunt but will not jump off hood unless you stop and tell him to get down, he points like bird dog when he strikes on hood. This dog has been hood hunted, hunted in front of truck, walk hunted, cast, and hunted off front of fourwheeler. WILL SHOW IN WOODS ONLY, NO TIRE KICKERS, NO TRIALS!!!, I'm getting out to spend more time with my kids n we'll just say it was a close toss up between getting rid of this dog and just making a pet out of him but don't want to waste him so if you want a jam up strike dog you better get him before I change my mind. $2000 cash no trades!!!
