Well got home around 3:00 to play doctor. I got my new ugly leather belt, the bloody shirts, and the mud clod off of him. No more blood leaking. Gotta good look at the poke and suprisingly the hole was no bigger than the end of a pen. I cleaned up real good making sure not to open him back up. Got some iron pills and real healthy dinner in him. Thinking he should be good to go with alittle rest. Thanks everybody.

There are hundreds of veins up there. They will bleed and bleed some times. As long has no artery was hit the body will re route the blood on it's own. Glad to hear he is well.
