Thought I would post this again just to see if anyone has seen it.

I lost a box identical to the one in the Ranger below on Hwy 77 somewhere between Cameron, TX and Lexington, TX in December of 2010 and would still like to have it back.  Anyone seen it?

I built it myself.  The welds on the first one I built weren't even cooled when I lost it....less than 24 hrs old.  My intent was to fasten it down, but I needed it to make a hunt and was going to wait until later to finish fabricating that part.  It's pretty heavy, and I sure didn't think it would blow out going down the highway.  Thank God no one was apparently behind me when it flipped over and out.  When I noticed it was gone, I immediately turned around.  Foremost, I was grateful I didn't find a car wreck, but then I was a bit ticked that someone (actually had to prob. be two somebodies as one person couldn't load it into a truck alone) behind me had picked it up.  I sulled around about two weeks, then built another just like it.  Second one wasn't near as much fun to build and YES...I did bolt the second one down.

If you're interested in one, send me a PM.  Only thing I would do different is make it a bit shorter.  Three dogs can ride easily in each side, and two bulldogs always ride on top.

If he hunted them midget dogs you hunt the wind would have never picked it up.  Heck, it would only need to be 14 inches tall.   Evil

Because I spend most of my time looking forward when I drive.  Smiley

Braydon and I were in a hurry trying to get to Houston (Skinners).  You can't imagine the sinking feeling I had when I glanced in my mirror and realized it was no longer there.  There were no dogs loaded in it, but the box was full of cut collars, garmin collars and vests.  They were all still in the bed of the Ranger.  It flipped over the tailgate.  Also had a white cooler strapped to the top of it....never found it either.

Don't feel too bad about it, I lost a deer stand off of a trailer before. When I realized it was gone I turned around and never managed to find even a piece of it. It was 4x8 with r-panel sides and roof with 11/2 square tube frame. Luckily noone had a wreck or anything because of it. I was less than ten miles from the house when I realized it was gone.
