Walked out the back door about 7 last night to my half acre pond. Took my pellet rifle and sat on the bank like a sniper. Shot a dozen in about 15 minutes. Not a big catch but will give me an appetizer tonight  |

man them thangs are good lol we use to hit the gravel pits south of dallas along the trinity and gig 150 to 200 a night . I haven't seen a good grabber gig for sale in a long time . we skin and cook the whole frog a lot of people throw away a lot of meat just eating the jumpers lol

My gig got lost somewhere along the way but pellet gun sure works good. Been planning on building me a new gig. its funny, only one pond on the whole ranch has frogs and i dont know why. Ain't wastin much of these, I froze the heads and hides so I can use them for catfish bait later on. My mouth is waterin

Academy sells the grabber style gig. Looks just like the old ones I remember. |
