not the best pic but it was dark and all i had was a cell phone.
heres how it went. we have had a few dry runs latley they are harvesting the maze and there is a small field with a creek in the middle full of trees and briars. i have not been hunting my main strike dog luke( aka humper) due to his age and the hot dry weather. it cooled off alittle so i took him we were walking down this draw all the dogs were working ahead about 200 yards when i looked at the gps i noticed humper was ahead about 450 yards and moving fast a few minutes later he opened up and the race was on. they finally stopped him in a 10 foot hole in the side of the bank kinda like a cave with no top so we were looking down on them about six feet trying to figure out how to get him without getting down in the hole with him. finally i was able to grab his tale and by buddy was laying down and stuck him enough to slow him down and alow me to get down and finish him.
