Vetericyn Eye Wash and/or Vetericyn Ophthalmic Gel. Most feed stores carry it.

If u can get it, non sodium saline solution. Flush the eye good, cleaning all the infection awayn then get some medicated doggy eye drops if possible. Looks like an allergy though, so some benadryl mite help too. A poltice wont stay on, the dog will scratch it off but if u got 1 of them "dont lick ur berries" hood that goes around their neck, take a raw tater, mash it up, put it in an sock, tie a knot in the sock, put the sock over the eye  and then do a head bandage over the sock. Change it out daily, twice a day would b better, but atleast once a day

been running the dog through high grass ?  could be a seed stuck under the second eye lid . if you can handle the dog without much trouble clean it out good and look in the eye for any seeds or other small objects . I had to take a hound in to have a Johnson grass seed removed from the eye . I tried everything I knew to get it and the vet finally knocked him out to remove it  .
