I accidently ended up 4000 acres to runs this year 1000 of that being crops.  Ive had dogs for 4 or 5 years and never had a place like that to hunt.  So now im paying all my buddys back for all the hunts they took me on.  Its a good feeling.  Keep trying man.  It will happen you just have to stay with it.

Yeah...I understand Charles...heck, there's a piece of corp land within an hour of me that has TONS of hogs but you can't run dogs because the deer hunting is so good as well and you know the deer hunters come first.

Just figured there might be something near by for him.

yep ur rite kevin. people who depend on crops for their livelihood gripe (a legit gripe), the gov gripes about the farmers n ranchers griping to them, and then u got the dang die hard goat hunters who piss n moan and cry, cry, cry  Cry about hogs tearing their feeders up, eatin all the corn they r putting out for the deer, but when a person has a possible solution (a solution that DOES NOT affect the deer directly), the hunters cry n say no, u'll run the deer off, but yet still complaining bout the hog problem. then them goat hunters go in and expend all rounds in hopes of hitting, crippling it n hoping it will run off n die a agonizing n painfull death n wont even make an attempt to retrieve the animal. and they call themselves ethical hunter, blahh, blahh, blahh. hunters like that oughta have peta all over them like stink on poo, and take everything from them, including to their homes and any possible mean to cause harm or injury to ANY animals, hogs included

And there are LOTS of hogs in them around here. My step dad hunted there a lot and would come up on big Sounders and kill lots with a shotgun

everyone is right if we could get the help from farmers, ranchers, stock yards, private lands, and goverment land we as hunters could try better to put a dent in this hog problem
