Anyone know how you go about getting a bulldog into pulling competitions I would like to take mine to see what he will do

You're dog has to be reg through UKC the pulls are usually up north not many in the south.

Look up iwpa website, they should have some info to get u started. It aint something you just throw your dog n the car, head to a show and give it a shot. U gotta buy a harness, get the dog used to it, get him used to pulling when you say pull, just like training a dog to hunt, u gotta spend a bunch of time with em. But it's a blast and you and your dog'll love it. Good luck to ya

lol then when your dog get's good at it you can do what I have wanted to do for a long time and incorporate a harness into a cut vest and have the catch dogs drag the hogs out for you

Where are you located? Is your dog registered or not? I can give you better specifics based on your answers to the above questions as to what pulls you can participate in and where.
