Have a yella who smiles my buddy get a kick outta it every time he sees him he will walk up and meet him face to face and they both start smilein

   one thing I have noticed thru the years with this behavior is that , I have never noticed it canine to canine it has all ways been canine to human . makes you wonder just what's up with that  .

Its genetic. If you breed one like that it can show up in pups later. But look it up it is for sure genetic. Clifford's mom smiled and would bite !!  Ha ha. Had a old strain of rat terriers years back that a bunch of them smiled.

  yeah my old plot gyp had as well as my walker gyp and the pups out of them that I kept had that little quirk lol   I have just never seen the dogs smile at each other only at me  .

iv got a bitch dog that smiles when we talk about her its kinda odd and if some one els tells her to go hunt she smiles and wags her tail scares the sh#t outa new guys that wanna help on the hunt . I just stand there and say you better run shes a killer hahahahaha  Evil

I say it darn sure is....

I got a red bitch pup here, whose momma "smiles" for certain folks when she's happy to see them....and sure enough...my lil pup smiles at me even harder than her momma does, lol. Far as I know, she's the only one in her litter though that does it.
