I have friends that use swamp dawg & swear by it. I know abs hog dogs use swamp dawg & they love it. Hell I got some old beat up cut collars that I got from a rodeo don't even know the brand & they have never let me down.

hell I can do that with any collar I have seen on the market . even my sling web collars I made  .  Kevlar , cordura and a combination of both will not stop a knife . does he have a video of his choice of collars that wont allow a nail or knife to cut thru it  ? .  and I am not biased either way I make my own collars .

I know the guy that did the video. Just like I told him lots of flawed physics at play. He was mad at drew at was trying to get on southern styles pro staff. 4 or 5 months before this he was all about swamp dog it was the only gear he trusted his dogs life on. Then it was southern style. Now it's 4r.

Is swamp dawg perfect no. I run it I have pass thrus on a year old bay vest I run on my RCD. None of the collars have a pass thru and I have 4 of them.

Will I buy swamp dawg again? Probly not but its simply because I have layed my hands on gear that I believe is better.

I will say that there is a previouse video that he was unable to get the knives thru the collar. So this was not the first attempt with that same collar.

I know these guys are just trying to promote their gear and taking jabs at each other but Come on now. Who in the world would believe you cant drive a nail through any cut collar? That's ridiculous...NOBODY makes a cut collar that I can't drive a nail through.

He didnt drive the nail, he pushed it through by hand, but agreed, not many lite-weight protective gear will stop a nail or knife from goin through, with the right amount of pressure applied and the sharpness of the point of the penetrating item.

you are right...but the P&P probably will take more power to push a nail through...

In one video he took a nail and acted like he was trying to drive it through the collar with a hammer and it didn't go through.. That's ridiculous..
