Me an tanner Took 3 customer's on a guide hunt. Dogs on the hunt was kirby, Big boy, frog, rcd was beautiful , cd shorty.. The hunt started around 7am at around 7:40am kirby struck an the dogs bayed a sounder of boar hogs we closed in to about 30' an let shorty an beautiful go an the hogs broke just before they hit. kirby and big boy stayed on the hogs an bayed 1 1/2 miles on the other side of the ranch but when frog was on his way back he struck a hog an started baying we only had beautiful an shorty so we let beautiful an shorty go from 100 yards an the hog was caught we headed in there and seen its was a good boar about 220lbs i legged him an let the customer stick his first hog an i got him back packed out an put him on ice so 2 hours later a we loaded up an headed to the other dogs on the other side of the ranch an got about 400 yard an let frog go to the bay to hold the hogs a bay as he walked within 40' an seen it was still the sounder with 2 big boar hogs an about 8 smaller hogs weighing about 80lbs each we let the rcd and cd go we watch them get tossed back from 1 of the bigger boar an the pack broke again but in 50yards the dogs caught one of the 80lb hogs an we got another customer to make a stick an tanner packed this hog out 500 yard an got it on ice.. The customers got 2 sticks and had a blast drinking beer an enjoyed the time seeing hogs being bayed and caught!
