See now you need a good pellet to keep the squirrels in check. You might need help cocking it but it is not 55lbs to break one and load it. It is amazing how all things are connected and it hurts to do most anything.

Dub im a step shead of you lol
i broke out my ol trusty pump .22 for em, it is good to about 30-35yds with these mini caps and crazy quiet, only problem is my acting retriever (danielle lol) is not feelin good right now so my hunting is temporarily on hold haha

Dodgegirl, thats what everyone keeps tellin me about the deer lol, i keep tellin em that the babies are way more tender though lol. J/k haha im hopin to get after em by mid december!

Hoax, i hate to hear that about your cousin, my uncle was in a similar accident in the 80's and was paralyzed from the neck down..... Life can change in the blink of an eye....

I got an old pump 22 but the stock is super loose on it. Idk how to tighten it up. It's a good shooting gun too

what bout shimming it up and or drilling the mount holes out and pouring in a fiberglass expoy filler, then drilling a hole out in it for the mount screw. like Justin said, post pics of it and more than likely somebody will be able to get it figured out.

Not too terribly bad as far as the hip goes. Matter of fact i went to the doctor today and got good news and bad news (see below for the bad lol)  still got a long way to go BUT the doc says everything is looking good so far. I hurt for a bit in the mornin  but it aint terrible.

I banged a couple of my ribs during the wreck and they were pretty sore for a while, docs didnt seem worried about em much at the time....anyhow fast forward to last saturday, i was at the house and went to grab my babies sippy cup off the coffee table and out of nowhere i hear a loud "pop"....when i say loud, it was so loud that danielle heard it from across the room....... Long story short somehow i managed to re-break my freakin rib by reaching for a dang sippy cup...... Lol now hows that for luck??? Man i tell ya sometimes you can't do anything but laugh at the situation.

When i initially went to the er after the accident they checked my ribs and said they were badly bruised and possibly fractured.....well my doc says they were wrong and the rib was broke and is now re-broke lol........ Looks like bow season is over for the year lol.

Thanks for checkin in on me dodgegirl, appreciate it! Happy thanksgiving and merry christmas!
