Yella or spotted dont matter to me just a color and little different breeding if it does what I like then it's a good one. I don't fancy one over the other just like trucks some like Chevy some like ford or dodge who cares lol I don't ha ha

From my own personal experience the LINE of Cats I hunt are more prone to doing better at stopping and catching versus the BMC's that I have hunted with. However the BMC were better at getting out deep and beating the bushes. I believe both of these traits had more to do with the particular and not the breed.

Couldn't agree more referring to the above highlighted in red. Hell I can go 30 minutes from my house and show you a pack of yella dogs that LOOK alot like mine BUT don't hunt anything like mine do, I road mine and just let em hunt rotating them as they get tired. he primarily winds his or track hunts with them. don't get me wrong, they are dang good dogs....the fella that owns em hunts different than I do and keeps/breeds for different characteristics than I do because thats what suits him. |

Choose what YOU want...from a good breeder and work the feet off it....if you get what other people want you to you'll never put the time and effort into it....

Lots of folks should read, then re-read the above statement before buying off into one of those breeders who claim to produce dogs to suit everyone. In my opinion, a dog bred to suit everyone is a dog that might be pretty good at everything but not real good at anything. Ten hunters will expect ten different things from their pack. |
