I got word that Lester "Mountain Man" Hughes passed away yesterday. He was a real gentleman who owned and bred some of the best bulldogs to ever look thru a collar. Rest in Peace Mr. Hughes.

I heard as well. Very sad. Another legend to rest. He left one HELLUVA mark on the bulldog world. RIP Mr. Hughes, and may the blood of your dogs live on....

Now I just heard JD Elliot passed away Monday. A lot of bulldog knowledge has left us already this year!

Well this thread is about as cool as cancer.
I did not know the men but they obviously left a mark in the bulldog world. May they both rest in peace.
