It takes some danes a while to come into their own from what I have been told. But the ones I have hunted hold like no other. You think its hard to get a pitbull off you should try a dane, they have a serious bite!

I have a dane/pit. I absolutely love the dog. He is too strong to walk in so I let him run loose. He is a monster on hogs, no matter the size. He weighs about 85-90 lbs and will hold any boar. I got lucky and bought him started for $150 on "baydog". I have been trying to find another one ever since. He is very smart, loads in truck, sits on command, and doesn't fight with my other dogs thankfully. Every dog is different but I don't think you can go wrong.

L3 is working to get a line of Bullydanes started. The pups he has now are starting to hit the woods and showing a lot of promise at a young age. I know he is planning another F1 cross soon, but that will be his last F1 cross and the other litters will all be line bred from those pups. The dogs he is breeding are not lead in dogs and are bred to have a lot of nose and drive. There are some DaneXPits out there but I don't know of anyone else starting a line and culling hard. you might have to wait a while, but one of his might be a better bet than just getting a random dog that the breeder won't back you up on. His e-mail is joshuabryantwhite@yahoo.com
