Saw this in a hunting magazine.  The site says the US part is not up and running yet.

What do you all think?

Tell you what I think.

Never heard of them. Not impressed with their technical write up either. Thats not to say they don't make a good product though. It does combine the telemetry and GPS technology on the same collar and that's what most of us has been wanting to see!
They should give me one for field testing so that I may give them my honest expert opinion of the unit. Grin.
I think I will wait and see if they can get the kinks ironed out before I buy one though.

I really like my Garmin however, I hunt relatively flat country and bottoms. Put a few hills and hollers in the mix and I am positive I would have a different opinion of it. I know when my dogs are bayed in a creek or a drainage because all communication are lost. Even at close ranges.
The technology is out there to make the perfect tracking system for a dog hunter. Its been there and its affordable!
Problem lies with our Government and the regulations that limit these companies(especially the Satellite guys....Garmin included) on what the can build and release to the general public.

Website and what I saw in the mag. add don't look alike.  I'm not giving credit card #'s yet, I just thought I would share that the technology is out there.

Regards,
Josh
