Boy shoulda got more time in jail.  REmember this god forbid it happens to anyone.  "he pointed the gun right at me, I though he was going to shoot me".  Makes it aggrevated assault here in Fl. Don't know what they call it elsewhere.

This was a good outcome. The guy that shot the dog was a big shot in the area it happend. He never served a day behind bars I'm sure but it sure put his pocket book in a hurt.

Pretty tough situation, I have had to cross into okter properties in the past to retrieve my dogs but luckily have made it back safe and sound everytime. It's sad that that man seen his leashed dog shot I'm surprised he didn't try to do something back.

This makes me wish I would went at it alittle harder when Skud got shot! Dang near the exact same deal! Only I didn't trespass until the guy had already shot him. That was the worst day of my dog hunting carrer! There's no reason for anyone to act like that. Hope nobody had to go through that!

Glad you posted this Mike, its nice to see dog hunters coming out on top in situations like this, as sad as they may be.

There are good people and there are AHOLES.  AHOLES need to be exterminated, they dilute the gene pool.  The guy lost 145K but he is still an AHOLE.  Not going to bring the dog back but at least it's something.
