Why the heck would you want to bring them east ? Sounds stupid to me. I doubt they can survive out of the desert.
Well I'm thinking about getting a few all I can tell you is I guess you better hope they don't make it up your way. I think it would be a little excitement hearing all the stories around town from all these professional hog hunters about the wrecking ball they got on that morning. And over the last few years hog hunting has boomed over here around here and I bet these things would cull some of these peoples 200yard alligator dogs out.

One random question, Why as a fellow hog hunter would you like or want to see other peoples "alligator dogs" get culled out? Sounds kinda messed up to attempt to bring in an animal with the intent of killing/maiming other hunters dogs.........regardless of rough/gritty/ loose/ long / short range we are all hog hunters, no need to intentionally do something to try to hurt other folks dogs

I know he's just trying to get a rise out of everybody but I've seen many times what a javelina can do to a dog. Don't care how big of a POS someone is... Wouldn't wish that on anyones dogs. Like Mr Corbell said, we may not all be on the same team but we're playing on the same field. If other dog hunters bother you that much man, get into fishing.

I'll tell you what I've encountered them things 1 time and that was enough for me. Caught them suckers up under a house with about foot & half crawling space too get under there and dispatch them. Dogs were all ok except for my pit sasha. Got a good bite on top of the head and under the jaw. Just make sure too give LOTS OF ANTIBIOTICS. There like rats for sure. Nasty as hell. But with getting on them. I don't think dogs can tell the difference honestly. Look like a 40lb shoat And when they do it's already to late for them too stop..there fighting too stay alive cuz they will kill your dogs for sure.

Justin, yes, its called the lacy act n its nation wide n it aint worth the potential fines n loss of hunting license to get caught transporting a game animal across statelines, live or dead w/o proper permitting n licenses.

I thought it sounded right francis and yes I agree, i've read a few stories of people gettin pretty hefty fines for doing this kind of thing.

Wrap them up in foil tightly. Put them in the oven and slow cook them for hours. When they are done unwrap the foil immediately. Spend the rest of the night trying to figure out how to get that smell out of your house. Smells like a wet armpit. One javelina will feed three hundred people.lol

Just a question but why would you want to introduce a feral animal that in essence brings down the quality of hog hunting due to having to worry about your dogs getting on one, especially when your dogs could fall victim to them sooner or later too. Doesn't sound like a very well thought out plan.
