We had a great Labor Day Weekend.  Started off Friday night with a hog hunt catching this nice young boar.  Had abunch of dogs on the ground because I had two pups and four younger dogs that still needed the work.  Everything worked out great on the hunt except that after we barred the hog and walked off, the hog ran about 400 yards around us and infront of the dogs.  We ended up catching him again on our way back to the truck.  At that point, we decided to put the hog down and let 6 year old Brody stick his first live hog.  Sunday after church, we tried out luck at fishing.  We had a bit of a late start and night time cut our trip a little short.  Not wanting to give up, we dropped the boat off at the house and grabbed our lanterns.  We ended up with 2 flounder.  This was a great outing in itself because I was really impressed that Jenny was able to gig a flounder by herself on her very first trip.  I gave her my back up lantern and gig and she walked on her own.  I turned around twice to see her gigging her first fish.  It was a great weekend...

Sounds like you had all the fun. I lived on the coast of NC for awile, I was fooling around one day, fishing off a bridge, trying to reel up blue crab. Me not ever living around the ocean, I was tickled to death about these crabs. I kept catching some type of ugly flat fish that was jacking up my mission to get one of these blue crab to the top. I kept giving them away, and couldnt figure why anyone would want one. After eating one, I fished for them off and on for 4 years and maybe caught 10 Grin and the crabs became the biggest pain in the ass, always stealing the bait Grin Nice pics also.
