Peachcreek and I headed west Friday evening to a sure enough honey hole. Well, after burning the woods up till 1:00 in the morning without a sign of a hog... we went to plan B for the morning hunt. Luckily our friend Ben's ranch wasn't too far from there and he said "come on".
We turned out at daylight to a beautiful 50 degree morning. Copper and Boudreaux rolled out to lala land chasing beavers... never to be seen again.Evil We drove around to another block of woods and saw Ann and Blackie cut in from across the pasture. We turned Lady, Hobo and Si out. Lady split off from the rest and got one jumped, the others fell in with her. They ran him around for a little while and brought him straight to us. Hobo sat down first and was talking to the hog, the others got there and were bayed solid... sent the bulldogs in from the buggy at 40 yards. Wink Got that fiesty little boar killed and sent everything on their way. A little while later we check our Garmins and Ann and Si are bayed. Get around to them and catch another boar. Start gathering dogs up after that as it getting hot quick and head back to the piney woods.

Good job y'all

Travis's Hobo dog sounds like its really working out for him. I'm guessing Blackie is that cur dog you picked up during the tournament , sounds like he's working out too

Chris, you're thinking of Chilli Bean. Grin I haven't hunted him yet, but have worked him in the wooded pen... I like what I see so far.
