Came home from dinner this evenin and my bulldog didnt greet us in the yard like he always does. I started hollering his name and he came limping off the porch with blood on him. I live in B.F.E.  and my closest neighbor is a mile away so my bulldog/yard dog/catch dog /pet lol runs loose. He usually wont stray off of the property. Well i dont know what else this could be besides a 22 caliber bullet hole. Its a clean hole about the right size. I figure if he had been in a fight the hole wouldnt have been so clean. It would have been torn and there woulda been more than that one. My neighbor has been claiming that my dogs have been up there messing with his cows. He sais theres always 3 or 4 of them. I only have 4 dogs total and only one is loose. On top of that i have cows of my own. My dogs wont even look twice at a cow. Let alone chase one. 90% of the places i can hunt is cattle farms. Im going to talk to him tomorrow and if he admits to it im going to politely tell him that the next time his cows get loose ( 2 or 3 times a week ) and come down to my property , i will be eating steaks and briskets for the next few years. He's a knucklehead for a neighbor. One of the old lonely grumpy men that are impossible to get along with no matter how hard you try. At least twice a week i have anywhere from 1 to 15 or more of his cows in my yard crapping all over the place and eating my grass. I either call him and go help him round them back up, or just heard them back to where they came from and fix the broken fence myself and he never knows about it. If they havent been out to long they usually run back to where they got out from. That stuff dont bother me. But if he admits to shooting my dogs it will become a big big time problem right there on the spot and he better go fix his fences is all i can say....had to vent. Thanks for reading !

is there an entrance and exit hole? depending how far the shot was (50yds or less), a 22 will punch both sides.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

What wouldn't sound right about it ? And if he was in fact shot he was shot head on. Right between the neck and shoulder blade.  If that makes since. It was at the base of the neck but kinda where the shoulder and neck meet .

I live in town all ny hunting dogs are at my shop but do have 2 mini Australian shepherds at house. My female jumped the fence and chased  a guy in a motorized wheel chair that rides around the neighborhood and slaps the fence w a cane taunting them. Which the man is not Handicapp... dog catcher showed up and stomped at her to scare her away and she latched to him. First words from out my mouth when picking her up"Dumb Ass" he agreed tho!! He was actually cool when I told him the story bout the guy and told I was fixing take care of it and he said he would handle it!
