Catch-em All..

Hunted with a friend last night we had a late start but finally got there and dropped the dogs. Dogs was hunting out well topped a hill and they got piggy. 150 yards out my buddy's dog barked. We waited and listened and heard a chop knew Peewee was trail barking.  All other dogs got to him and we had a strong bay holding at 460 yards. One of my main catch dogs is down so I had a pup with me first time to the woods and a bay. 135 yards from the bay Tank returned to me , his right shoulder was mangled up good to the bone, he fell over started siezing. My buddy stayed with my dog. We cut the catch dogs loose. Diesel lead the way my pup was close behind but got caught up in some briers for a second. Diesel ,Hum-v and my buddy's dog hit hard , it was a nice boar. But not the one that diced up my dog.    Did some fast stitching in the woods but the damage was to much, so we had to call someone that had some local to finish up my pups shoulder. Long night and I'm hoping my Tank is gonna be ok, cross ur fingers.

It's been a week still keeping him quiet in the house in a cage so the stiches hold, looks promising when he goes out to use the restroom he is tryin to run on it. Jus be a few before he is back in action. If I can get him to back off little more.... he will be two this coming may and already sporting way to many scars.
