I have seen that movie 15+ times since the 1960's...to me it looks like the hog is tied and he is trying to back up while he is throwing his head around...but I could be wrong...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

i still watch every now and then and for the time it was produced, not a bad production, and yea, it does look like the hog is tied up trying to get away. jp, u want cheesy, watch the pilot for the star trek tv series and a few of the shows during the first season. now that is some cheesy film and graphics work there. granted star trek the next generation aint as good as the 2 movies that just came, but the graphics are way better than the 66-69 production.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

old yeller is one of the best dog movies I have seen...the original "where the red fern grows" could be better...these movies kind of remind me of me when I was a little kid... if I wasn't in the fields or tending to chores like feeding hogs, chickens, and cows I was running my dogs...

My son is 3 and he watches old yella or savage sam at least once a week. He also has the Disney version of where the red fern grows and loves it too.
