Met up with some buddy's to do some fishing for the weeknd. Well I'd never caught nothin bigger than a regular size bass or cat fish. So I was pretty excited, for they were tellin me I'd latch on to a good fish. Well after a few cold drinks, I ended up snagging this fella. Was a good fight, but I managed to get him in. I'm hooked and will be returning! 41lb drum, first salt water fish!. Not all that bad for my first I wouldn't guess. Still going strong, will be here for two more nights. Plenty more bait and cold drinks! -V

Man, that saltwater fishing sure is addicting. I did it hot and heavy for about 10 years. That's a big ol ugly drum!

Yah I enjoyed it, dang sure enjoyed my 3 day weeknd! Those two drums were fun to bring in. Woke up the next day and got after the sheepshead and actually brought them back home and fried them up lastnight. That was for my wife's birthday! Was some damn good eating ! Was a great trip!
