Shotgun, your favorite president is behind this thing pushing it through. And using bullsh!t excuses, like the ferguson shooting to bring to light his and holder's police action. Gee, didn't another country do something similar back in the 30/40s or the Romans at the turn of christ's time?

I can't imagine any city letting the feds in to take over policing. I would work to vote out any d!%& politician that allowed this. This is going down a very slippery slope! Yet another way the feds wave your money at you and the local pols fall right into line!

There is but one reason to place local police under federal control . That reason is martial law and the removal of all rights. While some think poorly of cops the fact remains often they are from the area . They have ties to the community and the people in it. With a federal police force u send in outsiders with no ties. People that will follow orders. People that will do whatever is neccessary to carry out those orders. To these people the public is not old friends school mates or family friends. They are simply the opposition or enemy if u will. Any attempt to implement even a portion of this should be met with total resistance at all levels. The implementation of this is an instance that I believe will result in a revolution.

Charles, when your president    started talking about taking away uns and infringing on peoples second amendment rights the Florida Sheriff's Association sent a letter to Obama saying not in our state. May want to make some calls to local officials and see if you can get something like that rollin. |
