Took the mutts out to work a creek bed, they're all 7 months old and are no where near finished dogs except for my Red dog, she's 2.5 and she's decently started but she's real short range and isn't a strike dog in any sense of the word. I'm not really expecting to get on some pigs. We know they're there, but I'm just out there to get the dogs in the woods. We start working back towards the truck(walk hunting) and the dogs all roll out, very untypical of them they dive off into some trees about 250 yds away, and a few seconds after they suck into the trees. A 150# sow comes busting out of em, with no dogs behind her. I was mad as hell for about 10 seconds until I hear baying. Bust it to the bay, dogs found their first hog in the woods. 30 # boar hog. Incredibly proud of em, 7 months old getting i done in the woods(this was my first dog hunt ever)
