Me and my youngest boy made a quick hunt this morning. We're easing along a levee and I checked my Garmin cause I hadn't seen the dogs in while... Jase and Mima were already burning one up haha! They took it about a mile and bayed solid. Hunter and I drove around to them and sent Wood in to seal the deal... nice little boar hog.

Thanks fellas... we always catch one when Hunter goes. Here's a pic of his first real hunt when he was 4 years old...

Here's one when he was 2... he helped haul this one out of the national forest here by the house...

Time sure does fly... he'll be 13 in December.

My wife and I were just talking about that now Mike. Seems like just yesterday my daughter was born, and first day of K5 is tomorrow! Congrats on a good boar hog with your boy!

That's good stuff right there!

Mine will be 16 in few months and I gave him
My old truck for when time comes but I'm dreading it...

I'm much more comfortable with him beating me to bays.

Guess ya gotta let em spread their wings at some point but dadgum it, I hate to see it happen.

Congrats on the hog!

Thanks Semmes! Man it sure seemed a lot easier with the boy than the girl. My oldest son is 24, in the Navy, married to his high school sweetheart, has a year old daughter and another one on the way... damn I'm gettin' old haha!
