Wanting to clean up my old roping saddle not sure what to use all iv ever done is used and abused it anybody know what all stuff i need to get it back to shining? Thanks

A lot of cans of saddle soap, toothbrush and a bunch of rags. Then after its clean, mink oil or neatfoots (sp) oil

I've switched to Montana Pitch Blend conditioner for my tack. Its a blend of mink oil and pine pitch. Their dressing has bees wax added for water resistance. Its good stuff

Neatsfoot oil after saddle soap! Ive went to the point of spraying mine with the water hose then saddle soap then oiling.

I just oil my stuff with olive oil. Boots, saddles, reigns etc

Car wash , being careful , hang in the sun to dry . Then saddle soap , Then oil . I am using vegetable oil . Been doing this for ten years or so saddles still in good shape.
