I honestly cannot say I've seen any hunting dog in person or pics that was what I'd call "ugly" even the scatter bred crossed up mutts always seem to either be spotted or brindle or throw some Merle coat cause they have cat in them.

Ive been told i look like a bulldog and my 1 1/2 boy definitely looks a bulldog too. So it must be true. |

Dang, i didn't know my dogs were so good looking lol
I do actually have what i think are very nice looking dogs, except for 1. He has kinda grown on me and is gonna make a fine dog in the next year. He would certainly qualify to have his picture up on this thread. He is black and white with kinda long wavey hair. He stands about 28 .5 inches tall, is very long, ans weighs in at about 90 pounds or more, he is really long through his loins, runs with his back legs apart like he just took a foreign object up the sphincter and makes horrible screaming noise like someone is stabbing him in the back with a hot poker when he sees me outside and wants attention. He is probably my biggest dog and one of the most agile and athletic. He pretty fast too. Being ugly and embarrassing the way he is, he will probably make my best dog by the time he is 2 1/2 or 3 years old knowing my luck.
