Went out this morning to feed cows and decided to take my 5 month old cur pup and weimer dog who is kind of a jack of all trades but master of none to ride along and get of their kennels for a while. I look up to see my weimer hauling butt across the wheat field and he bays up a little sow and some piglets under a pecan tree in some underbrush my cur pup ran to him and bayed just like a pro. When I got a little closer the weimer caught on a piglet.  I was pumped that this pup got in on the action and have high hopes for him!

I'd love to hunt that weimer in the woods more but I've put too much work in him making a some what decent bird dog and blood trail dog to get him cut down. Not to mention my mom would whoop my a** cause he is definitely her baby haha

Yeah Slim I was pumped he got in there.  He has big shoes to fill due to having to put my oldest bmc I've had for years down due to his failing health. So I hope he will turn out!

That's awesome man. Heck I had a 4 month old pup bay a crippled sow in the middle of a pasture for over an hour yesterday. Little poncho might have some stick to him
