Went hunting the other day and dogs got on a hog, but when we finished hunting the my dog wasn't acting right. And I was checking on him today and I see his Testicals are swollen pretty bad. Anybody ever had this problem? Any help or advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

Get him tested for brucellosis and in the meantime quarantine him.

I hope it's nothing to serious but I googled the brucellosis and it sounds like similar symptoms but I'm going to vet in the morning so hopefully we'll figure it out. Thanks guys.

Brucellosis is the only thing I've ever seen cause this in dogs. If you can't get to the vet in a few days, I see you're going in the morning, it's best to get them started on some tetracycline or doxycycline if available.

A dog i sold my buddy managed to twist his in the sack and they swole up big time. Vet had to take em out. Sucked because he was a hell of a dog.

Yeah I think it's called testicular torsion. All the veins and connective tissues in the sack twist around and cut off the circulation. Pretty rough deal.

I had a soldier do a similar thing doing pt while in iraq. His junk swole up bigger than a soft ball and finally was able to get down to bahgdad and they were able to untwist and save his berries.
