thanks ... a farmer calls when he has hogs in his fields so we went this morning after he called we had one older 4 year old dog and the rest was young dogs under 2 .. we rode til we found some sign in the edge of some fields ... I told my son Louis put slim down they was already winding ....didn't take long and he bayed...we sent young dogs to him and the hogs broke....first the dogs killed a pig .. then after a short run about 300 yards they bayed again....the boys sent the bulldog and had 2 hogs caught at one time .. I come in from the other side of a bad vine thicket and the boys had one caught tieing it and I seen the vines move by me and I thought it was a dog ...but it was a hog when I seen what it was I said oh this sucker gonna catch me about 4 feet from me and nowhere to go no trees nothing ...Louis hollar'd daddy she got it caught I couldn't even see the bulldog but I could see the back of the hog no squealing or sound course the one they had caught was squealing within a few feet of that one .....anyway it broke lose bulldog had a half inch vine around her neck and let go or choked off ....anyway I seen the hog run by me a perty good hog ....so we lost that one but as they were tieingthe other one I could hear slim bayed about 400 yards further.....also the farmer with us had his snake dog and it caught a copper head where they was tieing the hog and they was some hollering going on in there hahahaha watch oout watch out hahahah oh shlllt he's whiping me with it hahahah then damn he's got another one get out of here dog hahahaha... anyway we gathered up and went to slim and he had the red gilt tied on front of my 4 wheeler in the picture ....we was back in the truck headed home by 8:45 ......good morning .....

Nice quick one. Nows the time to hit that rice. It sure is hard on the dogs to hunt it once it's headed out.

we wasn't in rice ..be a while before rice heads and the hogs get in it .... we really don't hunt much in fields ..but he has had 4 different people hunt these hogs and someone hunted it last night ...he said they haven't caught a hog..... we been there 4 times in over a year I think we have caught 8 .... hunting fields is perty easy to me ...you find where they been that night and dogs usually find them within 300 yards of the field ...these row plant deer feeder hogs here go for miles from feeder to feeder ......easier in the river bottom but we dog these so much they run like deer and usually swim the river ,,,,
