I have a litter of pups that are some of the best I have ever had opportunity to raise. The sire was a scott breed American bulldog and the dam was a Campbell dog. The sire was an amazing dig could wind and run s track like no other bulldog I have witnessed. The dam was a good dog with plenty of bottom abd coukd stop a hog. The pups off this litter are doing great winding off box, running a track and gritty. Unfortunately the sire is dead now as is his father. The only male off this line of dogs that is alive is the only male pup off the litter. I have never breed littermates together but seems to be my only option to reproduce this line of dogs again. The parents were different breeds not related but came off line bred dogs. There are only two females abs one male off this litter all hunt like I want and look like I want  them to. I reckon question is would you breed the littermates to replenish this live of dogs or would you think it would be a waste of time?

You could go brother and sister, or you could take the male pup back to his mother.

Sometimes you gotta do things that you would rather not in order to preserve the line. I would breed littermates or mother/son in a heartbeat if it meant that I wouldn't loose the line if that is what I was going after.
