Don't post here much anymore, but I've been heart broke bout this for the past couple day so figured I'd make a post.

Loaded all the dogs and headed to the ranch with the family. Got to the ranch and with the cooler weather we decided we'd make a run that night and start a little early. We decided we'd make 2 separate runs, and there first run being with the "long range dogs"

So we load up ginger & fancy and pull up to the feeder. There making loops and then fancy bounces out 400+ and all you hear is grunting, ginger shows up and they bay up the whole sounder down in the creek bottom. Well we finally get there and it wait a minute and you start hearing the hogs rally and it goes to 1 dog baying. Immediately we cut the Bulldogs, and get in there behind them and there's just blood stains all over the Rock and you just see fancy baying the hell out of this hog which usually is odd because she's usually gone when I show up to the bay. So I knew something was wrong, get the hog kiled and fancy immediately walks up to me and falls over so I throw her over my shoulder and get back to the buggie and she's sliced up from head to toe.

Got her back to the cabin and taken care of to the point to where she was sitting up and drinking.
But woke up next morning and she just didn't make it. Least to say I'm kind of tore up about it. I don't keep but maybe 4-5 dogs total. So the ones I have I put all I can into them. That little dogs gonna be missed around my yard. They might be working dogs, but there family at my house. So just remember it can always be there last hunt boys. Cherish the memories you get, because seems like these days the good ones are few and far between and they tend to spoil the hell out of you. I know she did.

RIP FANCY.
