Honestly my favorite headlamp is a little bushnell from Walmart lol. It takes triple A's. It's not as bright as my rechargeable headlamp. We hunt at night a lot. Especially in the summer. I always carry several headlamps and extra batteries. Once my rechargeable lamp goes dead it's dead. That's the downfall.

Hard core hog dogs has one I use. Like about 2 years old. I bough rechargeable one hated it. Order'd a battery pack one. It's hard to beat and will light up the night for around $30.00 no complaints. Couple buddies of mine got a couple a piece too. Love them

http://www.cajunlights.com/product/cajun-headband-light/I haven't found any that I like more that this one. I got the second one they ever made a few years ago and it still works as good as ever. Best thing about it is that it is rechargeable. If you hunt at night as much as I do it'll pay for itself in no time since your not buying batteries every other hunt. One charge will last a while. It has four settings, and the run time on high is 4 hours. A lot longer on low.
