I'm sure I'm not the first person to have let his GPS dangle against dog lead snaps when you throw your morning accessories over your shoulder. Does anyone know of a DIY replacement screen or a buffing compound that will polish the screen? Its very many small scratches that looks more like I hit it with rough sand paper. At night its no issue, but it creates a bad glare in daylight. Once I get this fixed, I'm definitely going after a screen protector. Tell me your secrets. Thanks in advance.

i guess this could go far any garmin not just the alpha but i carry mine in a pouch with protective felt sewn inside also has a large buckle snap on the cover flap so you dont loose it.  never did like it swinging from my neck.
