Only dog I've ever sold in my life, and I regret it every day lol... but thank God she is with a man who has come to appreciate my vision, as we are looking forward to building bigger and better things soon. And yes Shiner is still alive and still slaying big nasties in Alabama. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are you line breeding them or doing a "best to best" cross? I've been real pleased with mine so far... 5 generations down from my old Tweety gyp.

That Whaler dog is a fine looking dog, built stout. Are most of them straight catch? What kind of range are you getting out of them?
Great pics, especially the ones with the kids. Great to see people passing on the heritage!

Everything I've built off of 2 dogs, mother and son. Both are the ideal in "type" of what this line represents, absolutely my ideal physically and mentally. Robust, hearty, fast and very gritty. What I consider all around dogs, too much go for small properties, not enough for others.
... this is where the fun part begins lol... After thoroughly proving these two out, I've outcrossed to the best of the best from opposite ends of the same spectrum... all line bred, proven individuals from proven lines of course... nothing but 100% hog dogs.
My plan? I have used my 2 dogs as a base platform, outcrossing them to other, truly great lines I admire. Cold nose, long range dogs... short range, hot nosed hard stoppers... This has, A) allowed me to have one litter with the ability to "fit every need" if that makes sense.
Down the road? I will have the ability to isolate different strains from within the same line, while still basing off the "core" from my original 2.

Have not been on here in a long while as well. Figured this would be a good thread to post a picture of well bred Florida dog. Been feeding this one since 8 weeks. He's coming on 9 months now. Showing lots of potential on both cattle and hogs.

Good looking Dog's Noah. Warrent your pups grown nicely looking good for sure.
I have a litter out of my Holly dog and male named Skeeter that are 7 weeks old now got high hopes for them also ended up with Cracker from Texashogdogs Jimmy. I raised some pups off Cracker and kept his son Tex who's 8 months old now and showing lot's of potential.Ive tried all kinds but these these Fl dogs are where it's at for me.

No bark. He's an older dog now but a good representation of the breed and more importantly to me a proven producer.

I hunted with him one time and there was no bark that day. He caught a good boar close to 200# by himself.
