Does Equimax prevent heartworms???  It has 1.87% ivermectin in it plus 14.03% praziquantel. Should i also being giving a shot of ivomec with this paste for worms?Huh??

NO, do not give extra Ivomec with Equimax.  Equimax covers it all plus Tapeworms.

I don't have an exact dosage.  I just give em about as much as you'd put on a toothbrush.  1 inch or so on your finger.  It takes care of it, I mean all of my dogs are parasite free.

I will say this though.  I use Equimax in a 3 month rotation.  I use 2 months of Ivomec and Safeguard and then on the 3rd month I hit em with the Equimax.  It makes it a little cheaper for worming and gives me a little tapeworm protection as well, or at least in my mind it does.
