As usual...the Kentucky Derby will be running the first Saturday in May...
I am hoping that whoever wins today will win the Preakness...this will really hype up the
Belmont race for a potential Triple Crown Winner...My bet is on Bob Baffert to have the winning horse today in the Derby...

I don’t think there will be another Secretariat in my lifetime...

Anyone have an idea as to a potential winning horse?

I haven't even read up on any of the horses in this years field and haven't had a chance to watch any preludes to it on TV, so I'm going on a limb here and going to say if there's a Baffert horse in the field then it will be a top contender...

Frustrating race outcome..... the best horse got it taken away from him! If it would have been a Baffert or Pletcher trained horse, it would have been a different outcome! I guess I’m a little sour about it!

Shotgun66...sorry about your almost win...

I was certain the best horse was going to win who was also undefeated in all his races this year...and the horse that won by default hasn’t won any races from what was said...any hope of a triple crown is gone as far as I am concerned...

While I believe the best horse did not win, this was clearly a Jockey error. He should not have let his horse veer over. With all the scrutiny over horses being put down at Santa Anita, Horse and rider safety are  of utmost importance now. That moved could have caused a bad wreck.

Yes Cajun...horse racing is in jeopardy of being outlawed...I think that is the main reason why the disqualification...it seems all the Jockeys ride to hard to win which is the right thing to do...but in doing so they take many chances that can cause serious wrecks like you are saying...

Maybe they need to put blinkers and mirrors on them I feel like if the horse that got cut off was good enough he would have been beside him not behind him and I know there’s middle pack horses and all that it’s dieing cuz of the cry baby’s like every thing else horses are going to get hurt jockeys are going to get hurt u take a chance every time u run one that’s the name of the game just like hog dogs u take of chance of not bringing them home every time u turn them loose to make it cry baby fair they need to run them in lanes so some one don’t get cut off NOT TALKING SMACK TO NO ONE ON HERE just tired of all the BABYS  in this world
I know it is the rules and all that but damn let them freaking race

I hear the words that are coming through your fingers. I'm anti cry baby too. We all gotta get a trophy and not get hurt doing it. This is fast becoming our society. That's exactly why I've been ranting about posting the right pics and all that. People are damned idiots these days and believe it if it's on the news. They don't have enough snap or self respect to investigate things before they take a stand for or against. Some jack a$$ that was in the birth canal too long or was dropped by the doctor during delivery told them what his gender confused best friend told him it heard one time while he watched his cousin having intimate relations with their grandmother so it must be true. Y'all know we're the ones that messed up in the head.

We need to have rights to protect us from the antis...what happened Saturday was totally by accident and correction was made quickly...if it were on done on purpose purpose then no doubt it would be a disqualification...

We are losing our rights very quickly...it is unfortunate
