So y’all have read about some of my hunts. Well WOW has gotten to know one of our hunting partners over the years. He’s come to know him as “Barbie” and not the name given to him by his often disappointed parents which was Kyle King. He’s more similar to Kyle Princess. His poor father won’t hardly show his face in public now days, it’s bad. WOW makes some really nice pig stickers and made 3 super nice ones for my oldest son JR, Barbie’s youngest brother Ben who their parents are really proud of, and one for Barbie with a custom sheath. I have to investigate to see if Joel made it out of kindness or if it was Barbie’s request. You did a great job as usual Joel and I’m pretty sure JR has already bloodied his. I don’t know if Barbie ever will or if it will just be a pretty accessory like another piece of jewelry.  Here’s a picture for y’all to see the fine craftsmanship of WOW.

Y’all give him hell don’t you! Hahaha. I had a buddy of mine from Afghanistan hand forge me a knife and I much prefer it to just buying a production knife. It’s unique and just feels so much nicer. It’s the kind of knife I would pass down to a kid in 20 years, something you can take some pride in

Austesus, everyone in this crew catches it lol. We have a lot of fun and there’s plenty of trash talking to go around. Our crew isn’t for the thin skinned lol. They’re good people that I hunt with though and I would do anything for any of them. Ole Barbie is a really good guy. He’s an intelligent, respectful, and self motivated young man with goals. He plays quarterback for the University of Mary Harden Baylor and wants to be a coach. I’ve known his family since I was a little kid. I actually coached him and my oldest son JR in pee wee football. He was a go getter even then. We give him hell yes, but he’s very good people.

T-dog, I knew what you meant. All of the guys I associate with are the same way. We constantly talk smack to each other, you’d think we were fighting if you didn’t know us, lol.

These 3 young guys that got these knives are some fine guys to hunt with and a whole lot of fun to be around.  I have 3 more made up for some other hog hunters that will be coming that direction soon.

So Tdog texts me and tells me he is hunting yesterday with the recipient of this knife in the pink sheath along with his nephew and some other guys. While they are standing and waiting for a bay one of those guys asks Barbie if that sheath is a Gucci. I guess it was on after that. It makes it all worthwhile. Lol

It was definitely on. It didn’t make things any easier that we only had one catch dog and that was Barbie’s. He finally caught the last boar on the 5th attempt. You better believe I was talking some serious trash.
