Looking forward to hearing about the pup in the future.
He is a handsomely built lil guy.

Love the dam! She looks pert near perfect for what I like.

You know I’m a cheering fan of the AB as well. Love most of their temperament (of the good ones) and willingness to please and trainability because of that.

In the same vein I think some improvement in health and athletic factors do well for outcrossing

I think the original weight cross line from big head and that you bred further prove that out.

Wishing the best for this pup so that you may continue with him in the line of good, big,  thinking Bulldogs with the actual attributes to do the job and, like I said, looking forward to watching the progress.

Also does wow still have that male off of the stuff? Damn sure wish you’d been fortunate enough to get a female to take back to him...

Sorry to hear that. I think I remember he was a good working dog.

I only ever saw one picture posted of him silhouetted on a hill top that I can remember and he was a dang handsome dog!

Thanks Semmes. I agree with you as well. Ole Gus was a heck a of a dog. He got several hogs under his belt for the time he was here every year. He was a pleasure to be around at home and the woods. He was a half brother to the mother of this pup.

tdog your luck sounds about like mine.the very last ab breeding i did was some years ago and i really needed it to give me good dogs to rebuild.i kept the 2 females and ended up cullin them as they were just way too small for what i needed as my dogs werent typically big for abs anyway. i kept al4 males and one was the one, ya know. and i lost every male pup to parvo. good luck with the pups. bummer you didnt get what you wanted.
