I am back in my part of the world, Texas and we’re back after them. Been on a pretty good tear. No numbers to be calling the newspaper about but when the dogs are casting and hunting like we want. Pups are coming up and trying to make some dogs, and we got a couple old heads acting like they’re 3 years old again.

First hunts we made were in Swiss alp on What we call The Praire. Dogs hunted good. This country is unique and fun to hunt when the hogs are home. Capped morning with a puppy baying the best boar I’ve killed out of there.

Next one would have been south west Colorado county. Casted dogs and they left. Never checked up. But the didn’t find the group till almost a 2 mile trail job down the creek. Split from there. We went to 2 buddies dogs with a small hog. After they went 800 and got stopped. Back up the creek. Whole time the rest of the crew was bayed over a mile the other way on a sow in the middle of probably 400 acres of pasture for an hour. Didn’t even let her get to the pond. Impressive job by Rick Molly And Sketch. Does not happen often in our country.
