Main catch dog (black one)

RCD or lead in. Either way he is good. 1/2 catahoula 1/4 BMC 1/4 pit.

Catch dog in training. He has 2 of his own so far and 7 assist. He's going to be big. 9 months old right now and over 60 lbs. 5/8 pit, 1/8 BMC 1/4 catahoula.

My up and comer. 4 months old out of my old male I retired and my little black gyp I still use. They were both drop offs so I don't know how they are bred, but they threw some nice pups.

Ya he's a big boy. He's only seen about 10 hogs so far and doing good. I've been pretty careful with him til he matures a little more. The hogs have been from 120 on down. He catches ear or top of the neck.  But I think he'll get down with a few more. At least I hope so I've had hell with catch dogs the last year or so.

Yeah your are doing the right thing with him cause at 10 months you have to be careful with their teeth I have found. I hope he continues to improve for you.

yep , I sent my bulldog at about the same age to a big olé boar and it got crazy. Dog did a heck of a job but lost a canine tooth. I didn't know about the teeth thing. The whole deal only lasted about 45 seconds. I sent the dog from only about 25 yards.  But that was all it took.

Copy that thanks for the advice. That's been my plan. Like said before I've had hell In The catch dog department the last year or so. He was my first registered dog. I've delt with everything from dog aggression, people aggression and everything in between. That's what I get for going the old Craigslist pound dog route I guess. The guy he came from shows dogs.  He always had good looking dogs but where a little heavy for my liking. All his dogs had a good handle so I thought I would try one out. I've been pleased so far.
