Myself haakdt Justin and tj made a round this morning before the rain set in
Dumped dogs right out the truck they started making loops while we were vesting cds etc haakdt’s dog kidd and crook circled out about 800 and trailed/bayed a little boar hog in the creek Big dog Merle Lorrie and Tj’s red gyp went to them caught a and barred him (ended up 35 yards off the main rd 250 from the truck)
Grabbed dogs and loaded them on the buggy drove by the truck .5 mile and cast them between two feeders Kidd and crook took out and ended up 1.05 bayed again while watching them on the garmin kinda forgot about the other ones, as soon as they showed bayed big dog started hammering at 900 yards, Merle (BD son 2 yr old dog) hammering with him on the garmin(couldn’t hear him tho) and my Lorrie gyp 14-15 months old was about 100 yards behind them on the track got there shortly followed by Tj’s red gyp get back that direction they’re bayed 190 from the truck on the other side and 50-60 yards off the rd catch a dang good sow
Then load them and head to them other two dogs still bayed in the same spot drive little over a mile to them closest we could get was about 300 yards cut all the dogs to them get the young ones in on the action(big dog too since he’d been the only one on the buggy didn’t want him barking) get to them and catch another good sow! Bought the time we flipped her bottom fell out and we decided we better get to the house short 2.5 hr hunt and good dog work with good friends!

Thank you sir! The culls remark is a inside joke kinda lol we got a buddy that says our dogs stick with one too long he’d cull them swears if I cur dog can’t stop it in under 2 hrs they aren’t doing their job and need to move on to an easier hog I’d prefer one to stay on a hog 30+miles/8-14 hrs than one quit on me personally but apparently that’s a cull these days lol

Lol different strokes for different folks. I’ve learned there are people in for hog catching and people in it for the appreciation of the dog work.
