Good Barr. It is hard for sure when you have a big hog with no ears. I bet he will eat pretty good.

Sounds like some good cur dog work to me!

Them bulldogs have a rough life don’t they, but I bet if they could talk, they wouldn’t have it any other way!!

Good dog work Nla good barr i hate one with no ears. That k9 loss really hurts bad Its the decline of your bulldog dang all of Dozers got knocked out and broke off last yr I tried 7 different vets that do titanium teeth for service dogs between here and Florida and none would do his cause he's a bulldog.

Dang that sucks for your bulldog. I have a theory about most or at least a lot of those lost k-9’s. This is a prime example. She had no choice but to try and catch somewhere other than the ear. Unless she was able to get ahold of the jowl area, when she caught on the head it was bone on bone (tooth). When that hog shakes and slings, something has to give and it’s gonna be that k-9 99 out of 100 times. There’s too much leverage and power against it out on the end where it makes contact. I’m glad she got him though. I’ve seen bull dogs quit over that very thing and I’ve seen several good ones that caught well without a k-9 one in their mouth. That’s heck of a hog and a long headed rascal. Sounds like all the dogs did real good!

Good job in a tough situation. I have heard of folks cutting off a hogs ears and tails when they castrate him so othrr folks would have trouble catching their bars, and if they were hunting the bars they'd have a 22 and just shoot them. We've not ever had that trouble up in here but have seen a few that appeared to have had their ears chewed off as shoats.
