Well we all want as hog doggers to have young dogs that start early and have that drive that don’t end.  My son had gotten two pups from Cajun and we had started the male off about last month at 7 months old.   He accelerated fast in the last month to not only run with the old dogs but has developed that hatred in his eyes for hogs run his own track and open up.  He was on this sow yesterday and decided he was tired of baying it when the older dog did not even want to catch her.   lol.    He snatched her up like a cd and saved the dogo his fun for the day.   Now I gotta to find the tune button on him so he don’t end up with a short story of his life to tell.

Glad he is turning the crank. I have 3 pups from three different litters(one being a littermate to yours) off of Oak and three of my females. They are all running good but the littermate to yours has already got the relaying part down. He has relayed twice already and caught a 40# pig and then a lil 15# pig. Not the biggest but he did it on his own. Not bad for 8 1/2 months old. Good hunt.

Im still working on that keyboard that I can program these dogs with ,, you know like which direction to hunt ,, what to hunt ,, how to act with sows and shoats ,,,, then how to act with rank boar hogs..  I hope I come out with it soon,, cause he aint got no reverse and it might cost him ..  Just hope he has a chance to learn before he gets the final exam..   Grin

He looks impressive, very well made! I’ve only been around a couple of Cajuns dogs and neither were dumb. I hope he gets educated before deleted too.

Toby, I am sure you have a good dogo and the only other good dogo I have seen is Clue's Grip dog. All my other experience with Nogos has been negative and my plotts sure dont want all their hard work to be in vain so that pup went ahead and got the job done.

You know me and Wesley was talking about this the other day,,,   He is 7 yrs old Mike and I aint never been with one no better than he is,,,  His momma was like that but even her catch rate was a lower percentage because I can count on One hand how many hogs that he ends up hitting and misses..  We have never lost a hog at a bay with him cause if the hog does Break when he sees him , he dont make it 50 yards anyway..

Sadly,, the off spring ,, that I thought was gonna carry on the genes for Wesley we had to cull last month..   There are two brothers left in this litter and after that they will all be forgotten Im afraid,,,  It was a good 20 yr run with that line of Dogo's but we had some hard hits over the yrs.
