Took the boys and my brother in law and nephew on a Sunday hunt.We brought Peaches and Diamond my young gyp that I feel is really special. This was there third straight day hunting and we had already bayed a big boar in the bed that broke and put us in pigs and sows.We jump this big boar at 10am he bayed 3 different times over the course of the next 4hrs but just would not hold when we got there. We saw him cross the rd 3 times and the last time his mouth hanging open and I told my brother in law he didn't have any thing left in the tank.He crossed the big creek one last time and bayed so we had to drive way around the highway to get to the other side. We go hauling butt in there and right where the dogs are is a truck the woman says she saw the hog and he went in the pivot ditch right there. She also told me her grandson was on the way to catch him and she informed me that she was the owner of the property and we introduced ourselves I respectfully told her I hunted for the farmer who leases the property but I would get out of the way for her grandson to catch the hog I told her he's good and tired and had no more running left in him and I loaded up and left.I text her grandson and told him it was a big black boar with some gold on his face and he should be easy to catch.5 min later I got a Picture of him and he said he died as soon as he tied him. When we were headed back to the house she chased me down and apologized for messing up my hunt but I told her I was just happy he got him.I couldn't be happier with this young gyp Diamond and ofcourse Peaches. This is the route they ran minus loops and zig zags it's about 8.5 miles.Diamond led about half the time and ran right by us crossing rds and never checked up for a single second.

Top shelf dog work man! Dogs with that type of stick/bottom are not common. I know how hard you have worked to develop them. Nice to see you enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Great dog work and those young dogs are showing their genetics. Kudos to you for letting the Grandson go in and catch the hog. Have had a lot of hogs die after running them that hard and catching them.

Man I’d be proud of the dogs too. It’s pretty awesome to run the lungs out of one if he is gonna force the issue. Heck I’m proud for you.
