First lets start with the pups. I have 14 pups available. 9 Females (5 with bob tails) and 5 males (3 with bob tails)
They are 5 weeks old so will be available in the next couple of weeks. Since I am not yet a hunter myself, the parents are not yet proven. I do know they both show excellent prey drive when they are taken on walks in a wooded park. The male boxer has been around horses, chickens & goats and will not bother them, but he will go crazy chasing squirrels, rabbits, coons and other wild creatures. I am sure that with the proper training this drive can be used for catching hogs. The female is from a hunting family and I was told her sibilings are great hunters.
THE DEAL - 3 different ways to get a pup
1. $50 per pup and let me know how they turn out
2. Trade for a good shock collar or similar item
3. Hunting trip..........
OK guys, I am newbie that has been spending plenty of time on the forum reading and learning from all of yall. I however have not been successful in finding an local expericened hunter willing to let me tag along since I dont have a 4 wheeler. I live in Freeport, TX. That is in Brazoria County down on the coast. I am willing to trade a pup for being allowed to go on a hunt with one of yall. I just want to tag along and learn and gain some experience . I dont want a guided tour, I want to just help and go hunting with one of yall and for that I will give you one of the pups. here is a link that discusses using boxers for hog hunting. I know they are used in Austriallia and that is what they were originally bred for.
